Huddle House Dinner

Marv got new coupons in the mail for Huddle House in New Haven so we ventured over there for dinner.   Food was good as usual and our waitress was ok but think she was new as the other waitress kept reminding her of things.

We decided to try sitting up front as the last few times he had trouble breathing as the grease seemed to hang in the air and he didn’t have any issues in this booth at the front of the store.

He was looking at television on the other side of the place and commented it looked like Tom Selleck on TV, but not the Tom Selleck that was on Magnum PI.  He was right as it was Tom Selleck on “Blue Bloods” that dresses much more formally than Hawaiian print shirts, instead of a tropical paradise is set in gritty New York City and his is a serious police office, not a happy-go-lucky PI.  We agreed with like the “Magnum PI” version better, but as that went off the air in 1988 we are not likely to see that unless Netflix or Hulu picks it up as we don’t have cable tv.
