I had Dr’s appointment and as we were in Grabill we decided to grab a bite to eat there. We had never been to the Grabill in and decided to try it. It was more like an old school diner with memorabilia from yesteryear along with traditional dinners and reasonable prices.
I had the pot roast served on toasted Texas Toast that came with 2 sides. Marv was a chicken breast smothered in country gravy and two sides – each was $8.99. The food and service were decent, (although the macaroni was obviously from a steam table, overcooked and bland) was that the young bus boys/dishwashers were wearing shorts which are not safe if a dish or glass falls and breaks or something hot is spilled.
