We ventured to Dairy Queen today as it was “Free Cone Day” where you could get a free vanilla cone at participating Dairy Queen.
Front Counter – was a mad house, but the staff kept things running surprising smooth and food orders were processed quickly and it took much less time than a typical order a Burger King.
Dining Room is not very big; about half a dozen booths and about as many tables with some seating outside, but was too cold and rainy to eat outside. When we used to meet up with Kim and Aaron or if I took Kyle’s friends to the pool when he was in grade school and early Jr. High, many times we would stop off at this Dairy Queen for a quick treat on a hot Summer day. Because it was a cold day and with the constant traffic because of the free cone promotion, it was intermittently freezing cold.
Because it was a cold day and with the constant traffic because of the free cone promotion, it was intermittently freezing cold. Still, no matter how cold it is outside, I still enjoy ice cream.
