My friend Carolyn posted this pic from her wedding as it was her Anniversary 35 years agon on 1/3/17. It is hard to believe it has been that long ago. I was a bridesmaid (the blonde standing next to her) along with her sister next to me.
I was a bridesmaid (the blonde standing next to her) along with her sister next to me. I was a broke college student at the time and Carolyn’s mom paid the $20 rental for my gown and my Grandma bought a strapless bra and a full-length slip (and thankful to both).
Mostly, I remember what a beautiful bride Carolyn and how dapper Rus looked in his tux and how happy they looked together and I wish them many happy years together.
