Goose Creek Candle “Cabin In The Woods” Votive Candle

I wanted to try a new scent from Goose Creek Candle but didn’t want to spend a lot for a fragrance I might not like so I opted to purchase a votive candle that was on sale for $1.50.

The fragrance is “Cabin in the Woods” and described on the website as:

“Warm, woody blend of autumn citrus, sheer spice, aged oak and white cedar delights and intrigues the senses. Nuances of amber, sandalwood and cr̬me are added to the base creating fragrance that is truly intoxicating.”

First of all, I have no idea what “crme” is and regardless of that, I would not describe it as “truly intoxicating”.   It does have a woodsy scent that I didn’t like when I first lite up the candle but it did grow on  me.  It does have nuances in the scent that does sort of smell what that a wood cabin the woods would smell like and it does have a decent throw for being a votive candle.

It does have a woodsy scent that I didn’t like when I first lite up the candle but it did grow on  me.  It does have nuances in the scent, sort of cedar and oak with a bit of a moss and fallen foliage that does sort of smell what that a wood cabin the woods would smell like and it does have a decent throw for being a votive candle.

For me, this seems more like a masculine scent that men would like more than women and also more of Fall scent.

It is advertised to have a 15-hour burn, and perhaps it would if it were in small glass votive holder, but I put mine in a larger vessel and it burned up in a matter of a few hours.
