This is a thrift store find from the Salvation Army in Southgate Plaza (where Big Lots used to be). It is an uncut Simplicity Jiffy 1976 Top Pattern. I picked it up as it similar to a top I had made in Junior High.
It is an uncut Simplicity Jiffy 1976 Top Pattern. Although it is a 40-year-old pattern, I have seen similar garments in the stores touted as a “BoHo” style.
I picked it up as it similar to a top I had made in Junior High, except it didn’t have lace around the edges and a more structured neckline, so this should be pretty easy to make even though I will have to resize it and will probably make the length longer and will probably skip adding the lace to give it a more modern, grown-up look.
